From Norfolk: Take Hwy 13 over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel to the eastern shore town of Painter. Note: Automobiles on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel are charged a toll of $10, depending on axles; some RVs are charged more than twice this amount. At the traffic light, take a right onto Hwy 182. Follow Hwy 182 to the town of Quinby and take a right on Hwy 605. The preserve is located 6 miles from Quinby.

Preserve Description
This beautiful, 800-acre preserve lies on the eastern shore of Hog Island Bay on the Atlantic Ocean. With its own clam areas, this prime shorefront preserve offers a wide range of water activities including swimming, fishing and boating. The world's largest navy base, Norfolk, is convenient to this preserve, as are Colonial Williamsburg and the famous Busch Gardens.
